2012 Spring League

Registrations are being taken now! This year we are teaming up with Idaho Elite and will be the Eastern Conference, with the conference champion playing in Nampa on June 3rd for a statewide championship!   Teams are combined 5th - 6th grade, and a combined 7th - 8th.

General Information:

Games are scheduled on days that work for the teams playing.  For the most part we try to have games on Saturdays but if teams want to play during the week in the evenings they can do so.  I like to set the first 3-4 weeks of games and then have teams play each other based on winning percentage.  This also eliminates a 4-0 team from playing a 0-4 team, instead I'll have a 4-0 team playing a 3-1 as well as having a 1-3 team playing an 0-4. 

The only rigid Saturday games we have are those played against Nampa schools from the Idaho Elite League, those games are always on Saturday.  If your parents decide they are willing to travel to Nampa you will be scheduled for two games; one at 10:00am and another to start no earlier than 3:30.  Last year we used the 10:00am game to play most of our 7th graders (we had a combined 7-8th grade team) and in the later game played our best players regardless of age group.  They offered us a barbque with hot dogs, hamburgers, chips et al and fed our players for free.  So when they travel to Southeast Idaho to play us I'd like our parents to help feed them.  It really makes for a wonderful spring day of football.

Practices start on March 12 (1st week without pads, I recommend always wearing helmets)
